With dessert comes cognac, and with cognac comes ‘cognac ears’. When the evening is nearing its end and the atmosphere is more relaxed, it is time to fold your napkin into cognac ears.

Here is how to do it:

1. Fold the sides of the square napkin towards each other so, that the edges meet in the middle.

2. Flip the napkin around.

3. Fold the napkin in half, from bottom to top. You now have a square again.

4. Grab the four corners of the napkin: pinch together the left two corners, and the right two corners.

5. Pull them apart.

6. Flip around and you are done!
